I celebrated my birthday at Indiya Bar Restaurant, and it turned out to be a truly memorable experience! The ambience was elegant and vibrant, with beautiful Indian décor that added a festive touch to the occasion. We ordered a range of Indian dishes , each dish was packed with rich, authentic flavours and beautifully presented. The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded all expectations. What made the experience extra special was the top-notch service. The staff were attentive, courteous, and went out of their way to make my day feel unique. To my surprise, they brought out a birthday cake and even placed a stunning Indian turban on my head as part of the celebration—it was heartwarming and fun! Indiya Bar and restaurant offers not just great food, but a heartfelt experience. Highly recommended for celebrations or special outings!
Came down from Reading to meet friends at Orpington, went to this restaurant and turned out to be a brilliant choice. Staff were very friendly and food was very authentic. Tried Lal mass, Lemon chicken, Bhindi fry, Paneer tikka and Veg Biriyani. All are fresh, tasty with right amount of spices.
Food was great, chicken lollipop was not fresh could be better. However the potion size of the fried rice and chicken chilly is very very small for even one person to eat. Portion size should be improved. Staff are good but the Manager seemed a bit slow and not too attentive to customers. Didn't feel like I was welcomed much overall by any staff until I requested for a seat.
We had the pleasure of dining at Indiya multiple times and during every visit we were thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. The quality of the food was outstanding, with authentic flavours and excellent presentation. The service was highly professional and courteous , thus enhanced the overall dining experience. Impeccable ambience with clean hygienic environment. I would highly recommend this .
Highly recommended. Being a frequent traveler to India its often difficult to get authentic cuisine, but this place really hits the mark with a large selection of menu options and amazing tandoori oven naans that are light and crispy compared to the normal soggy doughy versions you typically get in the UK. The panner was exceptional and all dishes very tasty and delicately spiced. Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. I will be back for sure.
